   You can see from the graphics to the right just how much data is packed into such a small surface area. DVD data is nanometer technology; that means the size of the data pits is extremely small compared to a CD, leaving little margin for error. In addition, DVD has two shiny sides, with data sandwiched in the middle. this brings the data closer to the surface on both sides of the disc. When the protective polycarbonate surface is dirty or scratched, the laser has difficulty recovering the data, and symptoms like pops, hisses, and missing or scrambled data result.
    Recent tests by Warner Advanced Media Operations (WAMO) show that TRIO can protect and restore your DVD software (as well as all other optical media) in three important ways:

1. Use Quick Shield as everyday cleaner while making your media more durable and scratch resistant.  ( Approximately 200 disks )
